Michael J. Pellowski worked as a comedy writer, selling jokes to top comedians including Rodney Dangerfield, Joan Rivers, Phyllis Diller, Foster Brooks, Freddie Roman, Lenny Rush, Dick Capri, Morty Gunty, George Kirby and Jack Eagle (The father of nationally known sportscaster Ian Eagle).

In addition, Pellowski created, produced and hosted a number of local cable television shows in the 1980’s. His children’s show, Fun Stop, (hosted by Pellowski under the name of Ski Michaels) was nominated for a cable Ace Award in 1981-82. He also hosted over a hundred Sportscene shows which highlighted high school sports in New Jersey. In addition, Pellowski was a play-by-play announcer for cable broadcasts of New Jersey high school sports.
